Photography that matches a premium price point.
Fern Vickery is a hair stylist based in Yeovil, Somerset, specialising in bridal and wedding-day hair. She works at the premium end of the market — her clients are spending significantly on their wedding day, and they expect everything to reflect that quality, including how Fern presents herself online.
The problem was a mismatch: Fern's work was exceptional, but the imagery she was using on her website and Instagram didn't reflect it. She needed a portrait set that communicated the same level of care, craft and professionalism that she brings to every bride she works on.

An hour on site. A complete visual identity.
The shoot was designed to show Fern at work — not posed studio shots, but real craft, documented as it happened. Over about an hour, I followed the process of styling a client's hair: the detail work, the tools, the relationship between stylist and client. There were no separate clean headshot setups — every image came from documenting the real process, in action.
That approach gives Fern everything she needs from one short session: aspirational imagery for the website hero, process shots for Instagram, and strong portraits for professional profiles and press.
The editing was kept natural and warm — no heavy presets. The images needed to feel premium and timeless, not trend-led.
